Papermania Stamp for Rudolph Day!

Same card as before but different colours!
Afternoon  all,
Good news!  Lewis Hamilton won the Hungarian Grand Prix and we took the Silver Medal in one of the Ladies cycle races in the Olympics. Brilliant day so far if you forget about the thunder, lightning and heavy rain!

I made this card while watching all the sport and enjoyed every minute. It's my entry for THE ONE AND ONLY...  Rudolph Day Challenge.  Pop over to Sarn's blog and have a look.

I made this card just a few weeks ago but using different colours. I just love this stamp you will be seeing it again  I'm sure!

My crafty friend Gina was my inspiration for this card ... see her super blog Here!.
Gina loves F1 racing as well!
It's just a bit of fun and it's another Christmas Card done and dusted!

Thanks for looking at my blog today.
See you soon.

PanPastels and Studio 490 Stamps.

Yo ho Crafters,
I'm looking forward to today because the F1 Racing is on soon and I'm really hooked regarding  the Olympics.
The opening ceremony was just spectacular.

I loved it all and felt very proud to be British. The section with HM The Queen and 007 was priceless and a great example of our very 'British' sense of humour.

I'm ready and waiting with my crafty table in front of the telly for today's 'action'!

Here is my tag for this weeks PanPastle Challenge" Buttons and Bows or Schools Out".

Choose either subject / theme to do. Come on, join in, you can use any medium so no need to worry if you haven't got any PanPastels.  Enter and you could WIN A TRIAL PACK from our fantastic sponsor!

Three shades of Green PanPastels blended over the background of a Canvas Tag and then stamped with Studio 490 stamps using Black Versafine Ink. A few 'Chit - Chat' words from Tim Holtz and some die cut flowers I have had for years. Result!

Have a look in the August copy of Papercraft Inspirations Magazine. There is a super feature about the PanPastels plus some great examples from the Design Team.

Thanks for popping by my blog today.
I'll see you again soon as I've been decorating some more of my Altered Art Dictionary pages and Sarn's Rudolph Day July Challenge. needs attending to as well!

PanPastels, Art Impressions and Personal Impressions stamps.

Morning Fans...
As you can see, this is a very quick card to do. Yellow Ochre, Diarylide Yellow and Turquoise PanPastels all sort of swished about over some White Linen card stock.
I used the negative die cut as a mask from my smallest Nestabilities Circles (large) to 'create' the sun. The halo around  the sun was achieved by rubbing out the PanPastel colour with an eraser.

P1345 G  Personal Impressions Stamp.

I've been a member of the PanPastels UK Challenge Blog, design team for six months now and I've enjoyed every minute. My fellow design team members are very clever ladies. I'm proud to be part of a great team .

The challenge this week is Sun / Sea / Sand ... not rain, rain and MORE rain! Go on, have a go, you could win a smashing prize of a PanPastel Trial Set !

L1477 Art Impressions Stamp.
Thanks for popping by my blog today.
I spy more new followers and lots of kind comments left for me ... thank you so much for all the emails and interest shown in my work... :)  X

My trusty Hougie Board helped me score the lines on my White Linen card stock

Dylusion Stamps, Distress Inks and my Big - Bite!

Yo ho Fans,
Lots of crafty time for me this week.
I'm having huge amounts of  fun with the Show Us Your Twinchies Challenge and on Facebook with the Altered Art Dictionary Group.

Good job I'm retired cos there's no time to go to work!

This tag was made using the TH Spring Season Distress Inks with a bit of Vintage Photo thrown in. Stamped with Dylusion Stamps, my new set of Tim Holtz Stamps and Versafine Ink... just love 'em!

I painted the leaves with Dylusion Inks and Distress Pens. After adding some dots with my white gel pen, I made a  few holes with my Big-Bite!

I plonked a bit of white card onto the back of the Tag so it shows through the holes and then mounted the whole lot onto some dark green card stock.

I wanted to achieve a 'Jewelled' look with my colours ... what do you think?

Job done, now I'm off to play some more.

Thank you for the lovely comments you are leaving about my work and a very warm welcome to my new followers ... a huge thank you for the interest.

F1 Racing .. British Grand Prix this Saturday and Wimbledon! Cannot wait.

Have a good weekend ....  I know I will!

PanPastels and a Maple Leaf from Lavinia Stamps

Me again... just a quick post today because I'm making a start on some Journal  Pages and need to 'clear the decks' so to speak ... Big mess time with all sorts of arty stuff  Ooooooo !

Some of my FB friends are DT members for a brand new challenge blog. So I decided to enter and give them and the blog a bit of support.

It looks as if it will be great fun... not just cards either, Scrapbook Layouts and other stuff  as well, nip over and have a look here at The Cupboard Trilogy .

This months challenge  involves using a limited colour pallet ... so  I  pulled out the PanPastels  (there's a surprise!) and this is my entry ... the blues are in fact greens !

The stamp is a Maple Leaf from Lavinia Stamps. One of my favourite on line shops!

So True!

Got to dash .... don't forget the Twinchies Challenge here Show Us Your Twinchies
