PanPastel Tints with Lavinia Stamps

Morning all,
my card today, made with my wonderful PanPastels !
is a birthday card for my daughter Zoe .... who will be Thirtysomething tomorrow !
Have a great day Zoe... love you lots xx
I really enjoyed making this card using PanPastel Tints to give a 'softer' look than I normally do.

I stencilled some 'texture' using sequin waste and a darker PanPastel colour around the top edge.
The inside of the card decorated to match the front.

After spraying the background with a cheapo hairspray to seal the colours, I stamped using Stazon inks and a very pretty stamp from Lavinia Stamps called Wild Flower.

I've also used another Stamp from Lavinia but sorry, I can't remember the name of it !

The PanPastel Challenge theme this week is Pastel Colours  why not enter a card or project... you could win a trial pack of PanPastels.... so easy to use... I love 'em as you know!

The heart on my card is a Tim Holtz die cut and the words are his 'Chit Chat' so with a few 'blobs' of Liquid Pearls ... job done.

Thanks for looking today ...see you soon.

Playing with Tim Holtz Distress Pens

It's me again fans....

Super Sunday, great F1 racing. Shame Jensen or Lewis didn't win but not long until the next one!

What do you think of my card using the new Distress Pens?

The background was made with the new TH Spring Colours, Distress Ink pads, purchased from Ali-Craft, great customer service from this on-line store.

The stamp is one I've had for years, a Penny Black image called 'Fireworks' 3948K.  I inked the stamp with various colours using the Distress Pens. You can see the colours I've used from the picture on the right.

I had a great time playing around and tried 'blending' the inks as I coloured a number of stamped images on various types of card stock ... not very successfully I'm afraid, in fact the experiments were a total failure apart from the technique I've used on this card!

I will try other paper and card stock and see how I get on, but I think using the pens on the stamps directly seems the best way, for me, to go.

Have you used these pens? How have you got on with them? Please let me know.
I must say I love the colours. They are not as vibrant as the ink pads but gorgeous just the same!

Thanks for looking at my blog today .
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
See you soon

PanPastels and the Tim Holtz Rosette Dies.

Morning Fans,
More PanPastels today! The PanPastel Challenge theme this week is 'Sport'.

I have taken this opportunity to show you how 'Vibrant' and 'Rich' the PanPastels colours are by showing you these 'For the Winners' Rosettes!

I used my Cricut to cut out the main shapes and a couple of Tim Holtz Rosette dies in different sizes and just plonked them in the middle of each one!

Every Rosette and the main Rosette shapes are coloured using PanPastels... so bright and cheerful !
Please enter a card/tag/or other project into our challenge... you could win a fabulous trial set of PanPastels  to kick start your addiction to them !

I'm addicted, but with no side effects, unlike coffee, where I need to wee all the blooming time!
When we go out on a trip all the public loo's are 'plumbed'  into our navigation thingy! I'm seriously thinking of publishing a review of every loo I have visited in Great Britain... it's most of 'em!

This card, is also made using my PanPastels.

Blues and Greens swiped over some smooth white card stock and a very light mist of a cheapo hairspray to set the pans colour.

The stamps are from my favourite (for the moment!) Dylusions Range.

A 'Big Bite'  helped me make a few holes in my card along with a white gel pen to highlight a few areas.

I hope you're having a great weekend.

Today is going to be VERY important  for me ... I am ...wait for it!....Cracking open my Tim Holtz Distress Markers! ... I will make a card while I am watching the F1 Spanish GP.  Deep, deep joy!

Ooooo too much excitement in one day ... hot flushes here I come!
.

Thanks for popping along to my blog today. I will post my Distress Markers card later if I finish it.

Thanks also for the very kind comments you leave me .. they are valued and appreciated very much.

BTW ..... I know a lot of you are great fans of Ikki's from the famous Ikki's Cuttlebug Cupboard.
Well, Eileen/Ikki has kindly contacted me on Facebook and wants to feature one of my cards in her Friday Followers Gallery... delighted or wot!

Not sure when, but I will let you know. Have a look at Ikki's blog .... super stuff indeed!

Dylusions Stamps and Inks .... Fabulous

Hi fans... back again with another card using the Dylusions Stamps, but this time created with Dylusions Spray Inks that are available in the MOST fabulous colours!  I am slowly collecting them all!

This card is very similar, in the design, to the card I posted this morning, but with a few minor changes!
The inks are so easy to use.  I utilised the 'Point and Squirt' method and it worked fer me!

I used watercolour paper for this project and after laying down some colour I gave the paper a quick mist with some water, let things dribble about a bit, then dried the card with a heat gun.

I sponged various  Brilliance inks over some sequin waste, then stamped the stamps!

After a quick doodle  with a white gel pen and more 'Chit Chat' words from the Tim Holtz range we are good to go!

Thanks for the super comments left on my post this morning. You are very kind.
I really love crafting and having a blog adds to the whole experience.

My cousin, Zandra Rhodes, is a very talented lady and I like to think that I also have one or two of the family  'arty' genes!
Zandra, of course, is rich and famous. I'm just wrinkled and skint but happy with it!

See you soon

PanPastels, Dylusions Stamps and White Acrylic Paint!

Morning fans.. good weather for crafting! I've been very busy so I will be blogging a lot this week!

I hope the sun comes out soon, it sure does make us feel good but I find when it is wet or gloomy making a card or tag  cheers me up no end!

This card is my Design Team Sample for this weeks PanPastel Challenge *Anything Goes*  easy to enter just make a card and link to the the above challenge blog. You can use any medium it does not have to be PanPastels, but I love 'em as you know by now!

This week is a bit special 'cos we have a * Guest designer, Ali Reeve* and also Lindsay, another of our design team members, is donating this weeks prize of THREE digi stamps from LEJ Designs so get cracking then!

A quick swoosh over some white linen card with various colours of PanPastels, such RICH smooth pigments. Seal the colours with a light spray of 'cheapo' hairspray and then get messy with white acrylic paint and sequin waste. When that was totally dry I stamped using the gorgeous stamps from the Dylusions range and had a bit of a doodle with my white gel pen.

Plonked on some 'Chit Chat' words from the Tim Holtz range of goodies and that's it ... Tidy!

Thank you for supporting my blog. Your comments are always an encouragement and it's lovely when you leave them for me .... thank you x
