Crealies Template, Marianne Creatables Chinese Rose Die and NEW Pearlescent PanPastles

Yo ho all you little Bloggers. I hope you had a smashing Christmas.
Just a quickie today, to show you a card I've made for my daughter, Jane, who has a  birthday on New Years Eve.  Loves ya Jane xx
I've cut some circles including the card base, plus three others, using Grand Nestabilities Dies. Two of  circles, the smallest, were then cut again using a template now DISCONTINUED (sorry) from Crealies .
I drew the template design on the back of each of the two circles and then cut along the straight lines with a guillotine.

I layered up the template card pieces, using sticky glue pads and added the Marianne Creatables Chinese Roses along with some die cut shapes as leaves.
The Roses were coloured with NEW Pearlescent PanPastles available from Oyster Stamps.
Must dash... lots to do!
Back very soon with my Workshop MDF Coaster Samples!
Thanks for looking today.

Sweet Poppy Stencil And The Bleeding Tissue Technique.

Hi, ho, Bloggers. Saw this Bleeding Tissue Technique on the Fiskars blog and thought it looked so easy to do. Well, it was, sort of !
'Bleeding Tissue Technique'
5 x 7 inch, Primed, Acrylic Canvas Board ( Winsor & Newton)
Pack of Bleeding Tissue from Amazon UK ( Cheap as chips!)
Hexagon, Lifestyle Crafts Dies (Oyster Stamps)
Sweet Poppy Stencils: Snowflake Bauble. http://www.sweet-poppy.co.uk/…/sweet-poppy-stencil-snowflak…
Wendy Vecchi / Ranger Signature Pigment Inks ( used for stenciling)
Paintbrush and Water.
Finally....... here is the link showing you how to make it http://www2.fiskars.com/…/Summer-Camp/Kids-Craft-Tissue-Pai…
I created two canvases but only one turned out okay ... the other went totally wrong as the tissue did not 'Bleed' very well. I think I used too much, OR not enough, water! .
This is how they looked after I had applied the tissue paper.

I removed the tissue paper after it had dried to find that canvas one was okay but a bit pale so I added a few more of the  hexagon shapes, in another layer on top and, allowed another 'bleed'.
This is how it looked after it was dry and before I started to stencil .

It was good fun and I'll return to the other canvas and give it another go soon.
Thanks for looking today .
Back soon.

BTW .. a million thanks for all the lovely comments you leave for me... very kind of you .XX

Thanks girls, your work was fantastic and Barbara Cleggett's Cup Cakes and Quiche went down a storm (  I nicked THREE pieces of Quiche to take home for my supper !)

Cannot wait for January when we will all meet again.

Tree Dies from Impression Obsession - DIE217-E.
Please look at Laurie's smashing blog .. this is where I  found  the inspiration. Laurie was kind enough to allow me to make this card. Here is a link. Thanks Laurie x
http://stampingupnorthwithlaurie.blogspot.co.uk/2014/10/welcome-christmas.html

I posted this card on Face book and had a few friends ask how I had cut the base circle card so it was hinged and stood up. I've taken a picture.

Just fold an A4 sheet of card stock in half and lay the Nestie Die down, cutting side up. Place the card stock on top, with the fold at the top and just cut, running it through your die cutting machine, allowing the die to show so it does not cut the 'hinge' area. I hope you can see what I mean.  Then I used more card to cut one complete circle and glued that on to the front of the card top so you cannot see the flat, hinged area.
Hope that makes sense.
Back soon  thanks for looking today.
