Visible Image Butterfly Stamp, Distress Oxide Inks and a Tim Holtz Stencil = A Birthday Card for Archie!

Hello - I've been playing with Distress Oxide Inks today
whilst trying to create a birthday card
for my friend Elaine. (aka Archie)
Don't look at the picture Archie... !
I've used the reverse, white side, of Centura Pearl card.
A Tim Holtz Stencil 'Shatter' along with some
 DecoArt Media Crackle Paste.
Faded Jeans, Spiced Marmalade, Seedless Preserves
and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Inks
Plus, one of my favourite stamps from Visible Image

the Butterfly from the 'Live Life Now' set
and Black Archival ink.
I wanted a sort of abstract 'look'!
So, after the paste was dry I squished the inks
onto my mat then dabbed, painted
and dribbled the inks onto my cardstock,
along with a little water until I was happy
with the result before
Stamping the Butterfly image twice to finish.
The friend stamp is from my stash.
Thanks for looking today.
Back soon .
Happy Birthday for the 28th Archie!
