October 2015 Rochester Workshop - Sample One

My first sample for this Canvas Workshop features a Joggles Tulip Stencil, a Donna Downey Stencil, along with texture paste, white gesso, pigment inks, Treasure Gold gilding wax and Brusho Paints.

Glenda Waterworth Workshop - Portpatrick Studios.

 Hello .. I just want to quickly share some Journal Pages with you that are still ''work in progress'' but are, I think, coming along nicely. I went to a Glenda Waterworth Workshop at her  Portpatrick Studio
and had an amazing day. I've always admired Glenda's skill and talent and I was not disappointed. My expectations of the Workshop Day were not only met -  but exceeded!  Lesley Wharton was there. Lesley is the the new owner of Chocolate Baroque, she is great fun and super company.

The project was to make a journal container for loose pages, then get inky/painty with some background techniques and finally look at how to create content that is meaningful to you... I will be adding that element to my pages when I get home from our holiday.  We were kept supplied all day with refreshments, along with a tasty lunch - thanks guys xx I'll be back.

All the work you see here is not finished but I'm having masses of  fun playing and will post some more as the pages roll along. I intend that they will be about me. My past and also my future dreams.
Therapeutic and secret but for a small fee I will tell you everything! lol

Imagination Crafts have a show on Hochanda TV - 10th September 2015.

 

Morning all. I'm in a rush. Nothing new there then!

Imagination Crafts are on HOCHANDA TV, Thursday 10th September at 1pm.and again at 5pm.

You will see lots of new products. I've been playing with some super messy stuff and have made a few Canvasses using Imagination Crafts MDF Paints, Black Gesso,White Gesso, Stencil Medium, Starlights Metallic Paints, Stencils and Art-Cutz Images. I've so enjoyed it all.

  This Canvas is My DT Blog-Hop Sample.

This 5 inch x 7 inch Canvas features quite a few products, all available from Oyster Stamps.
 I've used Art Basics Heavy White Gesso to prime the canvas.
Dylusions Paints: London Blue,White Linen,Vibrant Turquoise,
 Black Marble, Cut Grass and Lemon Zest. 
Most were applied and blended using my fingers.. so messy! Art Basics Modeling Paste.
The Stencils are Donna Downey, Poppy Forest, Artist, and Poppy Collage.
Plus, part of a  Rebecca Baer Stencil called Enchanted Vine.(Four stencils in total)
A few lines drawn using a White Pigment ink pen, some splashes of white paint,
some Gold Gilding Wax and its good to go!
I enjoyed making this.....have a go, its fun to make a mess !

My Bookmarks were so easy to make. I stamped onto some White linen card stock using Versafine Black. Coloured them with Distress Markers and plonked on some 3D Crystal Lacquer, then had a splash about with some black ink... Job done!
