Crealies Modern Patchwork - No 1 Dies

 The Card-stock is Bazzill White

The Flower Die is a set of three, Stansen No. 26.
Such pretty and striking flowers!
All layers of the flower were cut using some
inky, painted, stamped and stencilled old backgrounds
on card-stock that was left over from another Art Project
 Waste not, want not!

Crealies also stock some lovely, small, 'Word Dies'
This 'Thanks' is one of them.
Cut four times and layered, using the white Bazzill.
This Die will be a FIRM favourite
as  I love the plain, no fuss or frills font!
The white leaves are from my stash.
I've used a large circle die, as a base, to complete my card.

 I've had Fun !

Rochester Workshop December 2016 Group One - The Results

It was a calmer, much more relaxed Workshop
last Saturday, because I allowed my students
more time to play while I lounged around eating
chocolate and generally doing ... not a lot!
The results the ladies came up with were
 AMAZING!
Well done YOU, my Group One Crew.
See you on Saturday10th Group Two!
Barbara Cleggett... I LOVE mince pies ..
Just sayin xx

 Thanks for looking today.

Crealies Flower Dies used as a Stencilled Background.

Today, I've been invited to be the
Guest Designer on the Crealies Blog.
The main features of the card I'm sharing
with you, are the very pretty Flower Dies.
I've cut the largest flower  with copier paper
and used the negative image, stencilling with
White Gesso, as a resist, for the background.

Various colours of Memento inks were blended over the top
of the gesso flowers, giving a 'ghostly look' that I love.
I added more 'interest' in layers to my card
with another stencil and ink, Small Circles before
stamping three or four times using the
Bits and pieces stamps no.53 and no.12 the Stars.

The main features are the beautiful Die Cut
Flowers, a set of three, Stansen No. 26.
All layers of the flower were cut using some
inky, painted, stamped and stencilled old backgrounds,
on card-stock that was left over from another Art Project.
Crealies also stock Word Dies, 'Thanks' is one of them.
Cut four times and layered, using the white Bazzill.
This Die will be a FIRM favourite
I love the plain, no fuss or frills font
and I'm ordering some more!
Thank you for looking at my project today .
