Lavinia Stamps, a Sweet Poppy Stencil and PanPastels

Hello bloggers,
Thank you for the kind comments and good wishes you left on my blog yesterday. I'm feeling much better tonight and the energy levels have returned!
I made this Tag today. Yellow PanPastels and the lovely Dandelions
from Lavinia stamps.
After the main image was dry I placed a Sweet Poppy Stencil over the top and stencilled the Agapanthus  image, using White Glossy embossing paste. I love this effect.

Don't forget the Lavinia Stamps Challenge Blog . If you enter a card or other project into the challenge, you could win a super duper prize of a Voucher worth a whopping £40 to spend on Lavinia stamps.
Thanks for looking at my blog today.
Back soon.

Penny Black Stamp, Distress Inks and Copic Markers.

Hi ho Bloggers... just a very quick post as I'm feeling a bit 'rough' with a head cold! I've been shovelling 'cold cure' remedies down my throat for a day or two so I should be okay for the weekend.
The background of this Tag was coloured using Broken China Distress Ink. The stamp is from Penny Black and I coloured the poppies in with Copic Markers.
I'm off to bed ... back soon. Thank you for looking at my blog today X

Distress Inks, 'That Special Touch of ...... Mask' and some Micro Beads.

Hello bloggers, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who left a comment on my previous post . I was overwhelmed by the interest shown here on my blog, on Facebook and by email.
Thank you so much.

For those of you that asked  the 'How were the Splats created?' question, they were made by 'whacking/ slamming' various Distress Stains down hard onto the card stock so that the ink splattered out! Easy, but mind you don't dent your table!

On to today's card which was made using a 'That Special Touch of ...Mask' from Clevercut UK. I taped  the mask down onto the card stock with very lo tac masking tape.
I chose various colours of Distress Inks and  coloured the image through the mask.
Remove the mask and dry the inks with a heat gun.
After cleaning the mask I attached it back into place and taped it firmly down again.
I applied Translucent Paste from Sweet Poppy Stencils  and after very carefully removing the mask, I covered the image with clear Micro Beads that are also available in a large pot from Sweet Poppy Stencils.
I left my project to dry overnight!
Thanks for your visit to my blog today
I'll be back soon.

Gelli Plate and Designs by Ryn Stamps

Hi ho bloggers... I hope you are enjoying your Bank Holiday weekend. The weather here is beautiful and we have just returned from a long walk with the dogs... we left 'The Ferret' at home!

Just want to share the crafty stuff I've been playing with today.
The Gelli Plate, acrylic paints, some foam flowers cut from the Tim Holtz Alterations Tattered floral die and used as stamps, plus some beautiful Water Droplets and Raising Bubbles stamps from Designs by Ryn.
Red, yellow and green paint brayered over the A4 Gelli plate gave me enough 'back ground' to make two tags... good fun as well.

I stamped the die cut 'foam' floral 'stamps' that I had covered with more paint, straight onto the plate and used a 'rubber comb' to create other pattens.

Great fun... thank your for looking today and a warm welcome to all my NEW FOLLOWERS.... fantastic!
Thank you so much for joining me and taking an interest in my Blog.

Have a great Monday .... back soon

Lavinia Stamps, PanPastels and a Sweet Poppy Stencil

Yo ho bloggers, me again with another card from Lavinia Stamps
anSweet Poppy Stencils.
A PanPastels background, created by blending the colours,Violet and Violet Tint together onto some White linen card stock and sealed with a pastels sealant or hairspray.

The main Lavinia Stamp image, Dandelions, was stamped using Chipped Sapphire Distress ink and Versafine Onyx Black.
After ensuring my images were dry, I placed the Agapanthus Stencil over the top of the stamped images and taped it down with very lo tac masking tape and applied White Glossy Dimensional paste over the stencil. I removed the stencil and left it alone to dry for some hours then repeated the stencilling process again to complete my design.

I really enjoyed making this card, it was fun to do and I was pleased that I resisted touching it to see if it was dry yet!
Thanks for popping over to my blog today.
See you soon
