Lavinia Stamps, PanPastels and a Nestabilities Heart

Hello, another Lavinia Stamps card to share with you today.
Using fabulous PanPastels to create the background.
I used a Nestabilities Heart Die Cut as a mask as
I blended three of the Bright Yellow Green Shades together
over the rest of the uncovered area.
Then I removed the positive Heart shape
and replaced it with the negative Heart.
Red Iron Oxide Tint, Pan colour, blended
through the aperture adding Red Iron Oxide for shading.
Finally, I removed the negative mask and with an eraser,
just tidied up the edges of the Heart.
On to the stamping with Versafine Ink, love this bit!
Every image here is from the Lavinia Stamps web shop.
I also completed a page in my Altered Art Dictionary
I belong to a group on Facebook.
Grab a dictionary, any size will do, plus some stamps
and come and join in.
Altered Art Dictionary Group.
Thank you for looking today.
Any questions just ask, eileen@ken-godwin.com
Stay warm

Lavinia Stamps, SplodgeAway Mask and a Marianne Creatables Flower.

Hi ho Bloggers, the idea for this card was inspired by a
Scrapbook Layout that I saw on my friend Joan's blog .
A fabulous Christmas Layout  with a Tartan background.
I tried to 'do' freehand Tartan on my card... disaster!
So this is my take on the Tartan 'look' (sort of!) using a SplodgeAway Mask some gorgeous Lavinia Stamp
and a Marianne Creatables Poinsettia Die.
I'm entering this card into The Cupboard Trilogy Challenge
Many thanks Joan for the inspiration.
Dylusions Ink Sprays, Distress Inks and Versafine inks
along with white acrylic paint, plus some Tartan Ribbon!
I 'fixed' small beads around the edges of the flower petals.
Don't go there ... it took flippin ages!
Back tomorrow with another Lavinia Stamp Card.
Some pretty Fairies and a PanPastels 'Heart'!
Thanks for popping by today and for all the smashing comments.
You are all STARS!

PanPastels and a Gelli Plate

Hi ho crafters
This Tag is my DT Sample for the PanPastels Challenge Blog
It was so quick, so easy and great fun to make.
Melissa, a crafty friend, gave me a Gelli Plate as a Christmas gift
It is FABULOUS to play with!
The background of this Tag was created with white and pink metallic acrylic paints
mixed with some (LOTS!) of  Magenta PanPastel colour.
The Gelli Plate was covered with the paint using a brayer.
I created the pattern by 'stroking' the paint with a rubber comb thingy!
Thin card or paper is then laid on the top of the plate, press down gently to take a 'print'.
Some Lavinia Stamps to complete the Tag, along with a few Shapeabilities Butterflies.
ROCK 'n ROLL !
Pop over and enter the challenge, you could win a super prize of
a trial pack of PanPastels from our sponsor Your Creativity Store.
I'm sad to say that this is the last PanPastel project from me
for the PanPastels Challenge Design Team.
Thank you so much Berni, Pete, Kerry and the gang.
I've had a super fun time.... gonna miss it.
