Designs By Georgina Circle Masks, Donna Downey Butterfly, on a Round Canvas.

Morning all....just a quick share today. Lots of crafty stuff to do!
A large 30cm Round Canvas Board, Distress Inks through some Designs by Georgina Circle Masks, a Donna Downey Butterfly Stencil, plus some 'tarting up' with a few stamps, white and gold ink pens, a bit of flicking with watered down Black Gesso, using a paint brush....

......and finally, a LOT of white paint, brushed on to cover up all the mistakes, fingerprints and other ''stains'' I managed to get all over my art work !

Back tomorrow with a Sweet Poppy Stencil Canvas.
Thank you for looking at my Blog today.

Crealies Modern Patchwork Dies No1 and Hero Arts Butterflies = A Thank You Card.

Yo! Christmas is almost over. I hope you had a good one, I did.  Now......I'm exhausted, a few pounds heavier and I'm the proud owner of an empty bank account. Good fun though!
I made this card before Christmas 'cos I just got fed up with making Christmas cards and longed for the Spring to return!

Its very straight forward. I've cut all of the White circles and shapes from the Crealies Modern Patchwork Dies, set No1 ( Oyster Stamps sell this Crealies Die Set) using Bazzill Card Stock. Then I positioned and layered them up on top of a black card base, cut with a Circle Grand Nestabilities Die.
The Butterflies, that I've plonked on the top, are from a Hero Arts set called ''Butterfly And Flower Stamp And Cuts. DC147'' I've used various colours of Bazzill card stock to cut, then stamped on top of each one using my MISTI to position and stamp accurately in Black Versafine ink. The MISTI is avaiable to preorder, in the UK, from Oyster Stamps. Job done.
Thanks for popping over to my Blog today. Back tomorrow with a Canvas to share with you.
If you have any questions please get in touch I'll always answer and help if I can.

Sweet Poppy Stencils together with Lavinia Stamps and PanPastels.

Yo!.. I'm back to share two cards with you, both featuring PanPastel backgrounds along with
Sweet Poppy Stencils and Lavinia Stamps.
The stamps are called  Zen Thistles and coordinate nicely with the Zen Thistles Sweet Poppy Stencil. Both the Stamps and Stencils are designs from the very talented Tracy Dutton. The two little Fairies are also from Lavinia Stamps.
Both cards share the same technique. A PanPastel background, stamped using Versafine Black inks and the Lavinia Stamps images and then, when totally dry, I applied white dimensional paste through the stencil and allowed it to dry before matting and laying.

My second card was created in exactly the same way using the Sweet Poppy Agapanthus Stencil and Lavinia Stamps Dandelions.
Thanks for popping along to look again today and I'll be back tomorrow!

Crealies Modern Patchwork Dies - No 7 and No 8

Hello everyone. I'm pleased to share two cards with you today that I created using stunning Crealies Dies and Stamps.
Card one features the Modern Patchwork Die No 8.

Various shapes cut from the set of dies, were layered onto the main circle from the set, AFTER, I had created the background of colours with Distress Inks. I used a couple of the smaller circles, cutting out 'negative shapes' from copier paper, these shapes then acted as my stencils. Finally I got to work with some fabulous little stamps from the Crealies 'Bits and Pieces' Range.
The Eye and the Art word stamps are from a Studio 490 Set.

The second card uses Die Cut Shapes from the Modern Patchwork Die No 7. Again, using the circle shapes from the No 8 set as stencils along with Distress inks.
The sentiment stamp is from Chocolate Baroque .
I had great fun with the Crealies Dies, they are so versatile. You will find them at Oyster Stamps in the UK.

MISTI Stamp Press - Bokeh Technique.

I've been playing with a MISTI Stamp press today, from Oyster Stamps. The background was created using my favourite Circle Stamps from Oak House Studio (mounted on normal acrylic blocks) along with various Memento Inks and White Pigment ink for the Bokeh Technique ( see You Tube for this ) MISTI came in handy for the accurate positioning of the other stamps I've featured here from my stash. Quick and easy !
