Marianne Creatables English Rose Die, Cuttlebug Border Embossing Folder, plus a Lavinia Stamp.
The lines were embossed using my Hougie Board
Hello,
Just a quick post today to show you a card that was inspired by my crafty friend, Sandra.
Please take a look here at Sandra's super blog.
I love the card Sandra made ( her flower is stunning) a lot more than my effort, but I am pleased with the clean, simple design nicked from her blog!
I am going to use this Flower border again!
I used a Lavinia Maple Leaf stamp.
The flower is made from primed canvas (unpainted) die cut from the Marianne Creatables English Rose Die.
I am very pleased with the look of the embossed flower border from a Cuttlebug Folder, in my view, the best bit of my card.
I am still playing with my brayer and Adirondack Inks and I have the new Adirondack Snow Cap pad on order.
I am hoping that will arrive tomorrow, cos I have a plan!
I have not produced a card yet but I am having fun and making 'loads of mess'!
Thanks for stopping by and for some really kind and complimentary emails.
Many, many thanks for taking the time and trouble to contact me xx

Nestabilities Circles, Kenny K Digi Stamp and my Foil It Machine
Attitude or wot!
I've had a lovely crafty day today... not too many phone calls and a new Ian Rankin CD to listen to!
Bliss....
I stood in the garden for a while, earlier, watching the rain pouring down, so cool and fresh.
I hope you will not think I'm strange, but I love listening and watching the rain fall.
I wrapped twine around the backing card
All the text has been foiled with my 'Foil It' machine
This card is for my grandson, Thomas. He is growing up fast and is a credit to his mum and dad.
I have used Quickutz Retro Dies, Nestabilities Circles Dies and my Cricut Expression to cut out the bigger, narrower circles.
The Image is a Digital download from Kenny K and I have coloured it with Copic Markers and Polychromos Pencils as normal!
The back ground paper is from a pad called the 'Retro Stack'
All text, inside and on the front of the card, has been printed on my husbands lazer printer then foiled using my 'Foil It' machine.
The foiling does not show up too well in the pictures but, trust me, I am a card maker, lol, it is very purple and shiny!
It does SHINE honest!
I have made a box, so along with a few quid, I hope Tom will be happy with it !
Thanks for looking today and for leaving such great comments.
Tomorrow and Thursday will be ......Adirondack and Distressed inks, my brayer and melting pot time!
Rock and Roll!
I love messy.... I do messy very well indeed!
Stay safe

LOTV Christmas Dance Stamp.... In Pale Lavender
New LOTV Christmas Stamp
Hi, I hope your weekend is going well.
Hubby and I spent most of yesterday in the back garden, cutting grass and pulling up weeds ...as you do, after three weeks away !
We did not enjoy it. Both our doggies got bitten from the 'clouds' of gnats / midges we disturbed!
We both like to look at a beautiful garden, shame we haven't got ONE!
We hate gardening!
We have tidy WEED beds ( I kid you not!) Lots of bird feeders cos we luv the birds, and holes... dozens of holes as Daisy and Holly try to help with the digging!
Lets get back to my card!
The image is coloured with Copic markers and Polychromos Pencils
I used this 'kit' to make it:.
LOTV Christmas Dance Stamp
LOTV Christmas Sentiment
Large Classic Nestabilities Circle
Marianne Creatables Circle from The Double Frame Die Set
Marianne Creatables Small 'Snow Flake/Flower Element' from the Circle Frame Die Set
Quickutz Sparkle Die
Quickutz Photo Corner Die
The inside is decorated to match the front of the card
Inside the card
Large Classic Nestabilities Circle
Marianne Creatables Circle from the Double Frame Die Set.
Quickutz (pretty!) Photo Corner Die.

I hope you like this card.
I have a couple of cards to make this week for my family, birthdays and stuff.
THEN, it's back to my Brayer, Adirondack inks, Clarity and Lavinia Stamps and, maybe, some rolled Canvas!
,
A special hello and a very warm welcome to my new followers :)
Finally, another picture from our holiday, taken by my husband and featured on Daisy's Diary

Marianne Creatables Button Flower Die, Flower and Leaves Die and inside is the Forest Branch Die
Hanglar and Stanglar Stamp
![]() |
She was a right 'poser'!
I hope you had a super BH weekend. I spent most of my BH Monday unpacking and washing dirty laundry!
We loved our holiday on the beautiful Isle of Mull and saw some wonderful wildlife.
As I post for a few days I will put up a link to Daisy's Diary so you can see some photos, if you wish, that my husband took as we enjoyed our visit there.
Daisy posted everyday so there are lots to look at and both Holly and Daisy had many adventures! (tic)
The 'Thank You' card above, uses some 'parts' of THREE Marianne Creatable Die Sets. The top button of the Button Flower Die and both sets of leaves from the Flower and Leaves Die, on the front of the card along with the Forest Branch Die for the inside of the card
I bought all the dies from http://www.craftsulove.co.uk/ who are free P and P until tomorrow 31st August !
Coloured with Copic Markers and Polychromos Pencils
The image is coloured with Copic Markers and Polychromos pencils and I used a White Gel Pen for the mega amount of doodling!
The sentiment image is a LOTV Stamp, cut with a small circle nestie.
Doodle all the way!
Forest Branch Die used inside the card.
I only managed to make two and half cards while we were away.
I took shed loads of crafty stuff but because we had such good weather ( usually rains a lot in the 'Highlands!) we were out and about most days!
I have a lovely Christmas card to show you tomorrow, again, using a Hanglar stamp.
Please pop by if you can and thanks for looking today.
BTW, many thanks for the good wishes and lovely, lovely comments .....Super stuff xxxx
My followers are very special to me.

The Isle of Mull and a problem with my 'Dongle'!
Hello Fans!
This post is just to let you know that I am unable to post any cards for the next couple of weeks. Hubby and I, along with our 'girls'! are up in the Scottish Highlands staying on the Isle of Mull .
This island is beautiful, wonderful and glorious but the phone signals, where we are, are naff!
I have a few cards to post and my last post to edit but my 'dongle' is driving me nuts 'cos the signal is so low and data transfer is SLOW or CRASH!
I cannot access FB or my email so it's just like the old days!
I have decided to put all my energies into having a good time by walking, reading, watching wildlife ( hubby is on a boat as I write this, taking photos of Sea Eagles! ) making cards and eating chocolate! I will post my cards 'wot I 'ave made' when I arrive home.
Ken is keeping up to date with Daisy's Diary by going into Tobermory each evening but it is taking hours if he wants to post text AND pictures !
Please don't forget me :(
I have some super stuff to show you (modest is my middle name!)
Pat ... I have received your email and I will answer it as soon as I get home.
Thank you for following my blog and also for the kind comments X :)
See you all soon.
Ps The local 'Chocolate Shop' has free internet connection and that is where we are at the moment !
Drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows and yummy cake ...the WEP connection is great so we will be back !!!

Lavinia Poppy Stamps, A Brayer and A Shapeabilities Butterfly
Lovely Lavinia Stamps
Hello, a lovely day today with the weekend to follow.
My best crafty mate, Karen, is coming over to spend the day with me tomorrow, great stuff.... we will gossip, eat a nice lunch ( I hope) and make cards....... bliss!
Thank you for all the lovely comments that were left on my previous post.... I was surprised at the interest shown in the card and very pleased as I also picked up some new followers !
Holes made with a Crop A Dile Big Bite!
Now, as you are aware, that card was all White! This one is a bit more colourful, this is how I made it .
I blended a background using my Speedball Brayer and two Adirondack Inks, Red Pepper and Sunshine Yellow.
Stamped the Poppies, two different stamp sets, both from Lavinia Stamps with Black Versafine Ink then using my 'Big-Bite' I made a few holes in the background paper and layered it over Gold Card so you can see the Gold underneath ( great trick, I use this a lot ....cos it's cheap but attractive!)
Inside of the card decorated to match the front
Mat and layer on Red and finally a Black Card Blank ... add a few Spellbinders Shapeabilities Butterflies, along with a sweet wooden Ladybird from my stash .... job done.
I also decorated the inside to match the front of the card.
Thanks for popping by my blog today .. any questions please leave a comment or email eileen@ken-godwin.com
