Craft - a - thon to raise funds for The Demelza House Childrens Hospice

Hello everyone... the picture posted above showcases the happy faces of the ladies that attended our 'Craft a thon' on Saturday. We were making cards for 12 hours, to raise funds for The Demelza House Children's Hospice, Sittingbourne Kent.

Fish 'n Chips Lunch

There were many other ladies that could not attend but supported the event, that we all enjoyed, by donating cards, crafty stash and CASH!
Sweet Poppy Stencils, Lavinia Stamps and Oyster Stamps, kindly donated products that we used as prizes for our raffle!  A huge thank you.
The Millennium Fish and Chip Bar in Allhallows village suppiled our delicious lunch, allowing a very generous discount on the price! Thank you.

We had competitions, a lucky dip and a FANTASTIC TIME!

Look at the cards we made on the day! You are all stars ladies.
Plus, everyone very generously spent loads of money on raffle tickets!
The cards and cash will be donated to Demelza House, who will sell the cards in their on-site shop.
Finally.. Val White, thank you for organising it all.
We cannot wait until next year to enjoy another one.
BTW... my two small doggies came along with me!

Daisy and Holly.

  4. Great idea for fundraising and for such a wonderful cause. Shout out loud and clear next year, Eileen as I for one would have made and sent some cards and some crafty stash as prizes, if I had understood what your Craft-a-thon was all about. So much effort for such a worthy cause xx Annie
