Marianne Creatables Button Flower Die, Distressed Inks.....and an Old Book of Maps!

Woohoo Fans!

Got a few links for you to check out today, if you want! This card is my entry for Reduce, Reuse and Recycle Challenge! on Lets Create Challenges Blog.  Please join in cos the more the merrier!

I tried hard to meet all the 'rules' lol .

One old off-cut of White Linen card ( I have tons of offcuts because I hate throwing stuff away ...yeah, I know, you are the same!)

I inked the edges with  Distressed Ink  and scored a few lines down one side and along the bottom to 'tart' it up a bit, using my Hougie Board.
I found a decaying! book of  Maps and used it to cut some Button Flowers from a Marianne Creatables Die.

The flowers were coloured with various Distressed inks, blended with Cut 'n Dry foam.

Old bits of thread to make them look more interesting lol!

Peel-offs  for the stems that I have had for years and years and finally the 'Rub on' word  "Challenge" that I never thought I would ever use ....  I love it! Please have a go x

Thanks ladies, for the invitation to take part.

My Friend Chris created this little beauty !
Now ...feast your eyes on this ... a feast it is indeed!  My crafty mate Chris Richards create this beautiful work. Check  her blog for details. A proper stunner!

Woodware Bauble Wreath Stamps ..... with loads 'a Bling !

Hello Fans! (can anyone remember who had this 'catchphrase '? )
I've been having fun with all my 'gem  stones'. Gawd, I wish they were real!

The cards posted today are very quick to make.

Yeah, okay, the small gems were a  little fiddly and I did cheat a bit by using a coloured pen here and there.

But after stamping, heat embossing and sticking on the gem stones ( BTW, I used Glossy Accents to fix them on with, 'cos there's nothing worse than having yer gems fall off! ) they took very little time to complete.

I have decorated the inside of each card to match the fronts.

I have another card like these in Black,White and Silver on another post under Woodware stamps in my labels section .

I purchased the stamps from Which crafts.  However, I cannot see them listed on their site now but you can ring them if you are interested. Great customer service as well.

Various Colours of Bazzil card stock
White linen card stock
Woodware Bauble Wreath Clear Stamps
Versamark Ink
Silver and Gold embossing powders
Heat Gun
Gems, pearls,buttons and bows.
Glossy Accents.

Thanks for looking today, some new followers as too! Many thanks and welcome to you X

Have a good week to all  my Crafty Mates....and Trev.....and Mike.....and Susie! x

LOTV Teddy Stamp, Quickutz Daisy Die and Copic Paper.

Hello, I've been playing with some of my favourite stamps today, Lili Of the Valley.

This is 'Teddy with a Daisy' and I've used Copic Markers along with Polychromos Pencils to colour it in.

I made this card to give to my 'crafty mate' Sheila who is celebrating her birthday TODAY woohoo! Many happy returns Sheila x

Here's a list of the materials I  used.

White Card Stock
Dark Green Card Stock
Fawn Card Stock
Lovely Papers from Basic Grey

Nestabilities Classic Circles Large Set. Second smallest die used to cut the Sentiment.

Quickutz Small Photo Corners
Quickutz Small Flower
Quickutz Daisy
Marianne Creatables leaves from "Flower and Leaves" set

LOTV Teddy with the Daisy Stamp

Copic Paper. This is the first time I have tried this paper and found it was okay (ish) but VERY thin!
I had to back the finished image with white card stock.

I found that the blender pens work much better with my usual IQ super smooth 160gsm paper from Staples or my Neenah card.
I think, in the future, I will stick to the paper and card I normally use instead of the Copic Paper Pad, which cost 'an arm and a leg!

Memento Black Ink
Fiskars Stamp Press

Copic Markers
Fur E31 E51 E53
Daisy YR30 Y02 Y08    Blender Pen, Black Copic Multi Liner Pen 0.35
Leaves YG00 YG61 YG63... Blender Pen
Grass YG61
Shadow C0 C1 C2
Butterflies RV63  Blender Pen
Envelope YR30 Y02 .

Black Polychromos Pencil and Sansodor

Lace
White tulle
2 Hat pins
Large metal silver corner
Silver metal daisy charm
Black gems and brads
Birthday Wishes stamp that was free from a card magazine!
Inside the card is a sweet little red wooden Ladybird Bug!

I made a box to fit .... and it did!
Thanks for popping by my blog ... have a good weekend.
