Splodge A Mask says 'Happy New Year'

Hi ho all my crafty friends.
Happy New Year Greetings!
Just a quick post today to show you this Tag.
Such fun and easy to make with a Splodge A Mask.
A white die cut TH Tag and Barn Door Distress ink.
I used masking tape to secure the mask to my Tag
then blended the whole thing with the distress ink.
I lifted off the mask, stamped around the edge with a 'texture' stamp
Job done.

Gelli Plate Tag.

     Happy New Year everyone.
I hope you had a great Christmas.
We spent loads of time with family and friends .... cracking stuff!
It's the Lady Bug Crafts Challenge time once more
so pop over and enter the Lady Bug Crafts Challenge
This months theme is 'Anything but a card'
There is a voucher for the winner of £15 to spend at
LadyBug Crafts.
Have a look at all the crafty goodies!
My DT sample Tag was made using
a super Christmas present that I received from my friend
Melissa. A Gelli Plate.
Easy to use, you can create stunning backgrounds and pattens.
I brayed on some acrylic paint over the Gelli Plate.. dragged a plastic comb through the paint, then laid a sheet of paper over the top, pressing down gently and then lifted it off … bingo!
I left it to dry, die-cut the tag and finally stamped over the top using some Dylusions, leaves and flowers Stamps.
Thanks for looking today.
I'll be back soon.
I hope 2013 will be kind to us all!
Lots going on this week......Mmmmmm .. oh yes indeed!

SplodgeAway Mat, Distress Inks and a Personal Impressions stamp

This Tag was so quick to make.
Distress inks, a blending tool and a SplodgeAway Mat.
It's my DT sample for the SplodgeAway Blog.
I'm finding that blending distress inks is so much quicker
and easier when I use a SplodgeAway Mat.
After blending Lemonade, Mustard Seed
Pale Lilac and Seedless Preserves together.
I splashed some water over the tag and dried it with a heat gun.
The edges were inked with a little Vintage Photo and
the leaves are painted with Distress Stains.
I also added some 'dots' with a white Uni Posca pen.
The stamp is from Personal Impressions and is called 'P890M'.
My smaller, sentiment stamp comes from the Hero Arts range.
I really enjoyed making the Tag.
I 'plonked' Sepia Glossy Accents onto the berries as a final touch!
Thanks for looking today and for all the lovely comments.
Keep warm, stay safe and carry on crafting!
