PanPastels and a Gelli Plate

Hi ho crafters
This Tag is my DT Sample for the PanPastels Challenge Blog
It was so quick, so easy and great fun to make.
Melissa, a crafty friend, gave me a Gelli Plate as a Christmas gift
It is FABULOUS to play with!
The background of this Tag was created with white and pink metallic acrylic paints
mixed with some (LOTS!) of  Magenta PanPastel colour.
The Gelli Plate was covered with the paint using a brayer.
I created the pattern by 'stroking' the paint with a rubber comb thingy!
Thin card or paper is then laid on the top of the plate, press down gently to take a 'print'.
Some Lavinia Stamps to complete the Tag, along with a few Shapeabilities Butterflies.
ROCK 'n ROLL !
Pop over and enter the challenge, you could win a super prize of
a trial pack of PanPastels from our sponsor Your Creativity Store.
I'm sad to say that this is the last PanPastel project from me
for the PanPastels Challenge Design Team.
Thank you so much Berni, Pete, Kerry and the gang.
I've had a super fun time.... gonna miss it.

This months theme is 'Anything but a card'

Have a look at all the crafty goodies!
My DT sample Tag was made using
a super Christmas present that I received from my friend
Melissa. A Gelli Plate.
Easy to use, you can create stunning backgrounds and pattens.
I brayed on some acrylic paint over the Gelli Plate.. dragged a plastic comb through the paint, then laid a sheet of paper over the top, pressing down gently and then lifted it off … bingo!
I left it to dry, die-cut the tag and finally stamped over the top using some Dylusions, leaves and flowers Stamps.
Thanks for looking today.
I'll be back soon.
I hope 2013 will be kind to us all!
Lots going on this week......Mmmmmm .. oh yes indeed!
