Memory Box Large Circle Burst Die and a Memory Box Stencil.

Morning all you little Bloggers... I'm hosting another workshop in Rochester this weekend and I'm planning to show my crafty 'students' how to create this.... so easy, they probably won't need me anyway, so I'll just give 'em all the necessary materials, then just loll around eating cake and slurping fruit teas..... Good plan!
A Memory Box Die 'Large Circle Burst', Memory Box Stencil 'Garden' and a few Distress inks, plus a small 'Grass' stamp from a set by Inkylicious

That's it ... back soon !
Thanks for looking today.

JOFY and Tim Holtz Stencils = Art Journal Page

This page, for my Art Journal, was quite quick to do.
A Distress Inks blended background. A small amount of water 'puddled' into my cupped hand, then it's 'happy clappy' so the water is sloshed placed precisely where I want it to go over the page.

Dry with a heat gun . Stencil, using a dark shade of Distress Ink, through the Tim Holtz 'Shattered' Stencil.
Position the JOFY stencils and colour the images using PaperArtsy Fresco Paints... I love 'em, as you know by now!
Scribble, highlight and dab here and there with a white pigment ink pen and a black fine line pen. Job done!
Thank you for looking at my Blog again today.
Have good week ... more inky stuff tomorrow... its a hard life..... !

Tim Holtz Umbrella Man and Word-Play Dies ... Plus a few stamps.

Yo everyone, I've enjoyed completing this card this afternoon, whilst watching a very exciting British F1, Grand Prix on the television.
A Distress Inks blended background. More Distress Inks used to stamp with the Hero Arts Stamp 'Painted Canvas' then I switched to Ranger Archival Black Ink for the 'Bubbles' Stamp by Indigoblu.

The chipboard letters were cut using the Tim Holtz Word Play Die and covered with two coats of white Gesso, before being painted, splashed, and splattered with various transparent Fresco Chalk Paints from PaperArtsy. I ADORE these paints.... Oh yes!

Another Tim Holtz Die, 'The Umbrella Man' and a bit more sloshing around with Distress Inks before I stamped over the top with the  famous, the ONE and ONLY 'WATER DROPLET STAMP' from Designs by Ryn.
A few blobs and spots of Rangers White Enamel, along with some white Gesso circles and a few highlights on the letters made with a White Pigment ink pen.
I was very happy with the end result and also delighted that Lewis Hamilton WON the F1 Race ... Rock'n Roll!
Thank you for looking at my Blog today xxx

Rochester July 2014 Workshop - Sample 1

Morning everyone. The project I'm sharing today, that was inspired by my friend Val White, is a small Chipboard booklet that my Workshop Class ladies will be creating, on Saturday 5th July, (Group One) and Saturday 12th July ( Group Two).
The booklet is filled with embossed pages from all the Embossing Folders that I own.....well, a few of them! I can flick through my booklet quickly to see the EF I have in my stash. Or, you could fill it with pages of stamped images, as a record of the stamps you own!

Two Chipboard Covers, both sides of each one painted with pretty colours, using Emulsion Paints ( Wilko £1' taster 'Pots).
When totally dry, I stenciled an image over the paint then stamped with JOFY Stamps using Archival Ink. The images were painted with Distress Inks.
Some Treasure Gold gilding wax around the edges ( hides the mess I made with the paint going where it shouldn't!) a couple of jump rings, a quick spray with 'Spray and Shine' ... Bish, bash, bosh.... job done!

Workshop Sample 2 soon... not sure it will be needed 'cos this should keep them busy!
Thank you for looking at my Blog today.
